The Big Catch-Up !

Wow it's been a very busy couple of weeks I've started back to work, I'm laid off every summer & go back every August. So now my painting time has been extremely shortened & doing some orders from my Etsy shop & trying to get prepared for the big craft show in Bell Buckle Tennessee in October really keeps me busy. I have  also been bombarded by offers for some other GREAT craft shows here in Tennessee & I LOVE it but unfortunatly they all seem to fall close to the same dates, so next year I'm going to get well supplied and go for it ! I still may do one or two more besides the Bell Buckle Show.

  The week before I got called back to work our son & his wife & our 2 granddaughters came to visit so we took them sight seeing, they come down every year & we take them to different spots here in TN & theres just  so much to do , so this year we took them to the Opryland Hotel if you have never been it's beautiful it has 4 gardens inside the hotel . My granddaaughter was dressed just like a southern bell & we all had a Great time !

 Ialso was busy making a baby Memory Box for our new granddaughter Dixie  & painting all I could before I went back to work . Well I'm still painting and comming up with so many new ideas that I just about can't keep up with myself.

Tennessee ! White Oak Craft Fair

Today when I got up it was such a beautiful day I decided that I would go for a drive .

To  the White Oak Craft Show in Woodbury Tn. I had been once before & was sent an application to have a spot there, but I just wasn"t prepared since I had just returned back to my full time job from layoff. had also applied for the Bell Buckle Tn Art & Crafts Festival in October. Anyway I took lots & lots of pics to show you, it was a very nice show with lots of talented crafters, its a 2 day show & today was the first day & lots of traffic & the weather was fantastic for a show, so here take a look.

I love to go take a look at all the creations that other crafters have come up with ! You know handmade is what make the world go round it all starts out as a small idea that with a creative mind can become a masterpiece for all to be proud of ! So if you don't think you have any talent  I challenge you to just try pick up a paint brush or a piece of clay and watch the masterpiece you create I bet you will be  amazed !
