I had a Great day the other day with my husband & my son. My husband has one day off a week , other than that he works 12 hour days. So on his day off we try to get our running around done. Well this week we decided to spend the day together sight seeing ! We have only been in Miami 5 weeks and haven't been able to take anything in.
We are staying at a campground in a Beautiful area of farms & nurseries and it's completely in the country ! Hard to believe when you think of Miami ! No ocean gazing where we are. it's about an hour away !

So we decided to go to Biscayne National Park and it's Beautiful !! Full of history ! They have informational videos that you can sit and watch that gives the history of the park, in fact about 10 years ago the park and surrounding area was just about wiped out by a hurricane but to look at it then and now you would never know ! AMAZING !!
This is a walkway that leads from one end of the park across the edge of the Atlantic ocean to the protected bird reserve that sticks out into the ocean. You can walk right out to the end of it where there is a plaque that tells you about this area. |

My friend from Creative Strokes by M.J. does Beautiful Painting and comes up with some very creative ideas . She created these hand painted Smoker Butt Pots that she has mounted on hand painted stands . She also created her Denim Jean Flower pots. Then of course there is my" Butt Pot " my is the table top version, I will be adding some more table top Butt Pots as I get them finished.
