Gospel Music and Shape note singing Noon - 5 p.m.

Ever since coming back from Florida  I have been painting my days away and loving it  ! ONE week to go until the Uncle Dave Macon Days ! So I have been trying to build a stock to take with me . I have came up with some different designs , like some of the birdhouses pictured here ,I suppose some were  beach inspired from my 6 months in Florida & the Keys  & yes for the most part we loved it !   I have been letting my mind go wild & my hands follow to come up with some different ideas ! I am taking many different mediums that I have been working on  with me, like  glassware, wood items, tiles,and jewelry this one is a beach cottage complete with beach chairs with umbrellas & palm trees complete with painted sand !!  I really had fun coming up with some of thee ideas ,of course beings I was in Florida 7 months yes we spent alot of time at the Atlantic Ocean so that thought of making the beach house wasn't hard to picture it in my mind , It has cedar shake roof with a stone looking chimney this is a side view of the birdhouse here is a back view with a window surrounded with flowers & vines and 2 palm trees New York Yankee Player Gourd I had gotten an order through my Etsy shop , She ordered quite a few . She asked if I could do a New York Yankees & of course I did , Trying to get all the stripes right was a bit tricky But I got them close enough, So after painting her one I painted another one similar to the first one , Each have there own personalities & no two look exactly alike. side view One of the brightly colored flower garden gourds , it even has a large pink flower on the bottom! I just LOVE color it makes life so much much more interesting ,it lights up our minds and there are soooo many beautiful colored flowers. This flowered garden gourd is sure to attract many a bird  ! Here is a green gourd with large and small flowers surrounding it ! Nice quiet way for birds to hang in a tree or on the porch or patio.! Seatle Mariner he was a special order I just mailed him out . I have fun watching them all come to life ! Picked up these green coffee cups, soap dishes & dispensers , They were all plain jane green ! I keeped on looking at them & all of a sudden sunflowers  popped into my head As you can see I put Sunflowers on the handles & all around the coffee cups   ,The Sunflower is painted on both sides & can be used as for soap or lotion & the dish can also be used for soap or sos pad holder, ring holder WOW I could think of a number of uses ! How about these " Beach" themed coffee cups. I saw the blue of the cups & it reminded me of the Blue of the ocean & the " beach inspired " birdhouse gourds I painted ! the other side of the cups have palm trees Yep Beach Inspired !! Wouldn't these be great displayed at your cottage , or maybe you just want to get away & dream of the beach ? YEAH !! Theres  even a pair of seagulls flying by.!!

These glassware sets would make Fantastic gifts ! For the person who Loves to give unusual gifts ,handmade & from the HEART & for the person who knows you give gifts that are unusual & keepers  and Hope they are the one who receives Your gift !!

I going to get to the finishing touches of my painting & yes I still have alot more painted glassware, gourds, wood, tiles that are brand new !
